Send us your photos. Group shots of a cabinet or table display are fine. You can mail in hard copies, email digital photos to email@example.com, or add photos to a DropBox (share them with firstname.lastname@example.org) for us to view. Photos will not be returned.
Please include your name, address, and phone number.
Speak with Jason, our auctioneer, about your collection and the current auction market.
No upfront or hidden fees!
Flat commission: 21% for items that sell from $200 - $9,999; 30% for items that sell $199 and below.
For items that will sell at $10,000 and over, please contact us for our commission structure.
Mail in a small collection of 10 or fewer items. Schedule a pickup for a large number of items.
Transportation of your collection: If Woody Auction has agreed to sell your collection, Woody Auction Staff will pack, load, and transport your collection back to our warehouse. If you want to pack your collection yourself, that will work. We do pick-ups as well. This service is at no charge, although we do wait until there are a few pick-ups in your area.
Your collection is stored in a Woody Auction facility.
Once your items are in our possession (whether they are picked up by us, shipped to us, or dropped off) all items are covered under insurance until the time the new owner has received their package in the mail after the auction.
The auction is scheduled, and the items are unpacked, inspected, listed (described), and photographed.
Photos are edited, direct mail piece and ads are created and sent out. The auction is listed on our website www.woodyauction.com, liveauctioneers.com, and featured on our Facebook, and Twitter pages. Other additional marketing avenues may also be used.
Approximately 3 weeks before the auction a notification packet is mailed to you with a listing of your items in the auction.
After you've spent a lifetime hunting and collecting the perfect treasures, it may seem like we have flown through your collection, as we move 80 to 100 lots an hour. You may attend, but keep in mind for most sellers it may be a bittersweet experience.
Final Settlement Packets are mailed out on the first non-holiday business day 30 days after the auction.
