Woody Auction is able to pack and ship most auction items, but there are certain lots when a professional pack and ship company will need to be used. When you need a professional pack and shipper for items purchased from one of our auctions, this limited list of shippers is provided for your use in determining costs and benefits of one over another. We are not in a position to recommend anyone and leave the decision up to you. An Internet search may be helpful for finding pack and ship
companies in your locality.
We require a written authorization from the client to release property to any third party.
You may fax our Shipping Release Form to 316-746-2145 or email your authorization to email@example.com.
Q: I paid for my items, now what?
Woody Auction is able to pack and ship most auction items. We package invoices in the order they were paid. Once your purchase has been packaged and the shipping figured, we will send you a second invoice via Live Auctioneers for the materials and shipping charges. Alternatively, Woody Auction accepts Credit Card payments over the phone at 316-747-2694.
Q: How much will it cost to ship my items?
Woody Auction has secured better prices with UPS, and as always, we will continue to pass those discounts on to you. Likewise, we have sourced less expensive packaging supplies. As a result, our prices have gone down significantly. We are posting the chart we use for our figuring so you can have an idea what we charge for materials.
We will continue fighting rising shipping costs and re-figure shipping costs each quarter to see if we can save you any more money!
For example, if your items are going in a 20x20x20" box, and it is only being single-boxed, your cost for the box and the peanuts to fill the void is $11.00. If your items are being double-boxed and the outside box measures 20x15x15", your cost will be $10.00 for both boxes, the peanuts inside the first box, and the peanuts between the two boxes. We hope this information makes the chart easier to understand!
Q: What is the difference between ABCG and BPCG?
We will describe an item as ABCG, American Brilliant Cut Glass, if we are certain it is American. If the item is from a maker or had on occasion been attributed to the European market (i.e. Val St Lambert, Stevens & Williams), we will call these items BPCG, Brilliant Period Cut Glass.
