Absentee via Woody Auction
As a convenience to our bidders who cannot attend a sale in person, or online through LiveAuctioneers, Woody Auction will execute written bids on your behalf for our in-person auction.
- Absentee bidders should complete the Absentee Bid Form (found on our sidebar) using bids with our increments (see below).
- Email the written bid at least 24 hours in advance of the auction to info@woodyauction.com. Alternatively, you can fax it to (316) 746-2145.
- If two bids are identical on the same lot, and at the auction these are the highest bids on that lot, it will be sold to the person whose written bid was received first.
- Lots are bought for absentee bidders at the lowest possible price, which may be below the written bid price, subject to other bids. Absentee bids are executed competitively.
Phone Bidding via Woody Auction
- Phone bids may be available for select lots in an auction.
- Phone bidders should complete the Phone Bid Form (found on our sidebar).
- Alternatively, you can email info@woodyauction.com. Please include:
- Your full name
- Your shipping address
- Your best email address
- Your primary phone number
- Your secondary phone number (or n/a if you only have one phone number)
- Your list of lots that meet the phone bid requirements for that auction
- We will reply within one business day to your email.

Online via LiveAuctioneers

- In-person auctions offer payment options. We invite you to read your invoice for full details.

Shipping Your New Treasures
- We proudly provide unparalleled in-house shipping services.
- We set the industry standard in the care we take to carefully wrap, pack, and ship your items for safe arrival.
- We package invoices in the order they are paid.
- Once your purchase has been packaged and shipping is determined, we will send a second invoice via LiveAuctioneers for the materials and shipping charges. This invoice includes your tracking number(s).
- Please read your invoice to determine the payment options for the auction.
- Our shipping is a combination of what we paid for the materials plus exactly what UPS charges us (we pass our 24% discount to the bidder), and then we round the total up to the next dollar to cover for unknown increases in material costs. We do not charge a handling fee or personnel hours - there is not profit in our shipping service.
Outside Shipper
Woody Auction is able to pack and ship most auction items, but there may be a few large or heavy items which require the bidder's use of a professional pack and ship company.
- When you need a professional pack and shipper, this limited Shipper List is provided for your research.
- We are not in a position to recommend anyone; therefore we leave the decision up to you.
- An internet search may be helpful for finding pack and ship (or "less than load") companies in your area.
- We require a written authorization from the purchaser to release property to any third party.
- You may fax our Shipping Release Form to (316) 746-2145 or email your authorization to info@woodyauction.com.
